We think it’s safe to say that nobody likes elbowing their way through crowds of tourists or standing in endless lines. Ljubljana, unlike its more crammed European cousins, offers the charm of a capital city without chaos (most of the time 😉). We really do think that Ljubljana is the underdog of European capitals – it’s charming, bright, green and (insert other superlatives here). Source: literally everyone.
Also, we (most probably) speak at least a little bit of your language. Because of our smallness and turbulent cultural and historical background – by the way, did you know that Slovenia was the first to break out of Yugoslavia in 1991? – Most of the locals are polyglots, and almost all of us are pretty fluent in English, so we can share some local secrets in many different languages.
