Restaurant Figovec
Once known as Figovec and Figabirt, it is one of the oldest restaurants in Ljubljana, first opened in 1770
.
In December 2017 Figovec reopened as Slovenian House – Figovec; all Slovenian local ingredients restaurant with a farm-to-table concept, grandmas kitchen type of cuisine. They have great respect for Slovenian traditional dishes and protected designations of ingredient origin that shape their seasonal menu.

Slovenska Hiša – Slovenian House
Nestled below the Ljubljana castle, next to the Ljubljanica river, is the birthplace of their Slovenian story. A lovely place serving allSlovenian ingredients breakfast, cocktails, wines, and cold cuts. If you are a caffeine lover you must try their home-brewed »Cankar« coffee!
